Anwar Farah heads IA´s Real Estate and Administrative Departments. Constantly praised for his extensive knowledge and experience, he has become the number one contact for clients who require legal advice and representation in all types of procedures before the municipal, departmental and national authorities.

On real estate matters, Anwar stands out for his high negotiation skills, advising clients in their investments and successfully implementing various real estate procedures such as: mergers, subdivisions, subdivision modifications, constitutions and restructuring of real estate projects for clients in the commercial, real estate, hotel and agroindustrial sectors. He also advises clients before local authorities in matters of urban development: land use, urbanization processes, construction licenses, habitability certificates, operating licenses, environmental impact studies, among others.

On administrative matters, Anwar is a key player in the development and analysis of preventive due diligences of licenses, permits and administrative authorizations before the main municipal, departmental and national authorities. Likewise, major companies in the agro-industry, food, import and export sectors have relied Anwar´s efficiency and pro-activity in leading procedures and projects linked to company and product registries before the National Service of Agricultural Health and Food Safety – SENASAG in order for companies to comply with all the permits and authorizations that the Authority requires in the three different areas: Plant Health, Animal Health and Food Safety.

Having graduated suma cum laude from the Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Anwar Farah also has a Masters Degree in Law and Company Management and a post graduate degree in Business Law from Universidad de Palermo in Argentina. He has five years experience in the legal counsel and administrative processes in the public sector. He was supervisor of Set Assets Regularization Department at the Government of Santa Cruz, later becoming head of the Evaluation and Regulation Inspector at the city´s local government.

Since his incorporation in Indacochea & Asociados in 2012, his career has expanded the law firm practices in Administrative Law, which is of great importance for companies currently established in Bolivia. He has helped to speed up procedures such as Land Use Permit, Environmental Technical Permit and Operating License in the Local Government. Moreover, he has a deep knowledge of the agricultural sector, a growing area at this moment in Bolivia, as he obtains all the permits and authorizations to export grain. Finally, he is also dedicated to the real estate market, an area with a lot of investment in recent years, where Anwar participates as a consultant in different cases for companies before all types of institutions, ranging from the Constitution of Condominiums, Individualization and Division of Condominiums, to Development of Land.
