Vivian Nieme joins Indacochea & Asociados to contribute with her expertise in Tax and Administrative Law. Her experience in these areas and her academic background allow her to lead the Tax Department of the Firm; as head of said Department she provides tax planning services, preventive tax advice, before and after audits, inspections or warning from the Tax Administration.
Her career began in 2005 when she became part of the legal team of Petrobras Bolivia Inversiones y Servicios S.A. as the sole lawyer in charge of the Tax and Administrative Area. Afterwards, in 2007 she joined the Firm Abogados Tufiño- Villegas & Asociados and up to 2012 Vivian Nieme developed her skills in preventive tax advice, before and after tax processes (audits and inspections) for different local and multinational companies. She has also performed through Africa and Colombia giving on legal advice to the protection unit for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
In the academic area, she worked as a professor of Private International Law at the Universidad Aquino de Bolivia, Public International Law at the University UTEPSA, lecturer in Tax and Finance Law at the Universidad Domingo Savio. She was also a professor of International Law (International Business Management) in International Marketing Masters at the UPSA and lecturer for the International Relations Department of the Autonomous Government of Santa Cruz.
