The State Agency for Medicines and Health Technologies – AGEMED, issued the following Circulars:
- Circular No. MSyD/AGEMED/CR/6/2024 dated 23 January 2024.
It has the honour to remind about the compliance and application of the Supreme Decree No. 2452 on the labelling of food and products intended for human consumption that are, contain and/or are derived from Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), as well as its Technical Regulation, Multi-Ministerial Resolution No.002.

Requests all companies registered with AGEMED, which are suppliers of products intended for children under two (2) years of age and at-risk groups, to notify the Marketing Authorisation Department by 15 February of the current year, about products intended for human consumption that are, contain and/or are derived from GMOs. This notification must include the requirements of AGEMED.
